We pray everyone is doing well. Apologies for the long wait. As Covid restrictions have eased, we are ready to start the Winter 2022 ball hockey season Insha’Allah. Start dates and times will depend on which league you signed up for. As the season will be significantly shortened, there will be no registration fees. Please be advised that Covid related measures will be implemented to ensure the health and safety of all players and volunteers. More details are below.
Start Dates and Times for the first week in each league are as follows.
Juniors League boys born 2006-2009:
Saturday, February 12 @ 10:30 am (first game) and 11:30 am (second game)
Girls League for girls born 2005-2012:
Saturday, February 12 @ 12:30 pm (first game) and 1:30 pm (second game)
Learn to Play for boys and girls born 2014 and later:
Sunday, February 13 @ 11:30 am
Rising Stars League for boys born 2010-2013:
Sunday, February 13 @ 1:30 pm (first game) and 2:30 pm (second game)
For the Juniors, Girls and Rising Starts leagues, the exact date and time for each game will be based on your child’s team as there are some games with alternate times due to gym availability and DST time change. We will send a further update once all the teams are set. Also, there will be no games scheduled on Family Day weekend.
Covid Policies
- All players 12 and over must be double vaccinated. Please provide proof of vaccine to the coaches before the start of the season.
- Children, coaches, and parents are required to always wear a mask. Players may remove their masks for the duration of the game only
- We are trying to keep the number of people in the gym at a minimum. We will not be allowing any spectators. We ask that Parents drop off their child before each game and pick them up at the end of their session. If your child has a special need and you need to remain with your child during their game, please email info@smbha.net
